Three Spheres of Transformation: Collaborative Poems for Counting the Omer

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Together, we will explore three themes of meaning in our counting of the seven weeks between Pesach and Shavuot: an agricultural count from harvest to harvest, an historical journey from Egypt to Sinai, and a personal climb toward readiness for Revelation. Each theme is a lens of meaning through which can appreciate the count, as we elevate our awareness of incremental growth, of formation and transformation. In the second half of the session, we’ll collaborate in creating poems based on these themes, each poem comprised of 49 words or phrases to be meditated upon, word by word or phrase by phrase, on successive days of the Omer.
