The tradition of bequeathing a spiritual legacy to future generations has its roots in the Bible and Talmud. Legacy Letters allow us to transmit our knowledge, love, and blessings, to be remembered, to have one’s life make a difference. The process of transmitting our wisdom to future generations gives us the opportunity to more deeply reflect on our own lives, what we truly value and what gave our lives meaning.. We will look at the legacy letters of famous and ordinary Jews and non Jews and begin the process of writing our own legacy letters-so that our values live on.
